HOW CAN I REGISTER FOR ITRAIN TRAINING PROGRAMS?

The easiest way is to register is online through our registration section.

WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE? WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

In order to confirm your spot into any one of our training programs, we must receive your payment in advance. We accept payment on our website through our secure PayPal account online. You can also come into the office and pay in person by cash.

HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO BARTEND OR SERVE ALCOHOLIC DRINKS?

The law in Ontario states you must be 18 years of age or older to serve alcohol. You also must hold a valid Ontario Smart Serve Certification.

WHAT IS THE SMART SERVE PROGRAM?

Smart Serve is an alcohol awareness program. To legally serve alcohol within Ontario you must hold the Smart Serve Certification. All bartenders, servers, managers and security staff must hold Smart Serve Certificates.

HOW MUCH CAN A BARTENDER MAKE IN A SHIFT?

A bartender can make anywhere from $150 to $500 per night or more. There are many factors that will depend on how much you make such as; type of establishment, guests, average cost of drinks, and your customer service skills.

IS THE FOOD HANDLERS BASICS.FST RECOGNIZED BY THE CITY OF TORONTO?

Yes, BASICS.fst is a national recognized certification through TrainCan Inc. This training program has been reviewed and accepted by many Public Health Units across Canada. Toronto Public Health Letter of approval.

WHY IS WHMIS TRAINING IMPORTANT?

WHMIS provides information on the safe handling and use of hazardous materials. The goal of WHMIS training is to reduce the occurrence of injury and illness caused by hazardous materials in the workplace.
